Tramore, Ireland: Fenor Bog
22 Sept. 2010 According to a helpful and informative sign (shown a few pics down), “Fenor bog is a place of peace…” I must say, it was quite lovely and peaceful when we stopped by that afternoon. The sign goes on to say that “…21 out of the 31 Irish Butterfly species occur here.” Gosh! …

Arthur’s Day
Happy Arthur’s Day! At first I was a little disappointed this picture came out blurry, but then I realized it was quite fitting. Heck, I should probably blur it some more!
Tramore, Ireland: Beach and Surroundings.
22 Sept. 2010 According to http://www.tramoretourism.net, Tramore is southeast Ireland’s “leading holiday resort.” It seems that people love beaches everywhere you go. And no matter what the temperature, there is always someone who will give you a funny look if you say, “Are you daft? Swimming? Here?!? It’s COLD!” But then, I grew up in …

Put your quote marks inside the final punctuation. Talk about football a lot. ;)" I love Drew's comics. He also writes …

Rosemary & Olive Oil Almonds
Napa, USA When Dario and were in Napa visiting Emily and Charlotte, we stopped at the Robert Sinskey Vineyards for some wine tasting. The tasting was pretty overpriced, frankly, and there was only 1 wine — the 2008 Pinot Gris — that we all really liked. I will say that although we tried several other …
Americana festival
Now that’s funny. I knew that we culture-starved Americans borrowed everyone else’s festivals, but I didn’t realize other folks borrowed ours. …Well, except for Pizza Cowboy in Guidonia.
Dario feeds the lorikeets
Dario feeds the lorikeets. Sooo cute – the birds, too! ;)
Pith helmet + cheetah = AWESOME!
Pith helmet + cheetah = AWESOME! Dario and I went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park today. They were selling pith helmets. We simply had to buy a matching pair. Now our tour is truly absurd. ps: this cheetah is nearly as close as the one in Tanzania. ;)
