Nigel Tufnel on Stonehenge

Whenever I travel somewhere new, I like to study up on the history of the place I'm visiting.  If I am rushed, it will be a cursory browse through a guide book and a couple of quick internet searches.  When I have more time, I might order something from The Teaching Company, like when we went to Egypt.  (Bob Brier rocks, by the way!)  Or I might do it while in the country.  For example, now that we live in Ireland, I've had time to listen to the BBC Radio series, A Short History of Ireland.

Although I have been to England 3 times, I never made it to Stonehenge.  I'm glad that I can now do some research in advance of my next visit so that I'll be fully educated and prepared.  And by one of my favorite musicians!
