Co. Cork, Ireland
Dario's parents were in town for a brief holiday visit. Other than an afternoon outing to Blarney Castle, most of their time had been spent in the city. We both really wanted to show them some of the beautiful Irish countryside and coast so they would have a better understanding of why we fell in love with Ireland.
We started with Drombeg Stone Circle, headed out for a drive along the coast, and managed to catch sight of a neolithic tomb at dusk. The coast of Ireland never fails to impress. Gorgeous!
Unfortunately, a lens problem I'd had earlier in the year flared up (pun intended!) again, so I didn't get as many great shots as I'd intended. Here is what I managed to salvage.
(You can click on the first picture and watch a slide show. The compression rate has softened the focus a bit, I'm afraid, but if you squint, you'll see that the scenery is still quite lovely. ;)
Cheers and hope to see you in Cork soon!
